The Octavia is the brand’s best-selling fleet model, achieving a 7.7% increase in registrations.

The growth means Skoda now has a 3.6% market share in true fleet – its highest total ever.

The Octavia continued to be the brand’s most successful fleet model, achieving a 7.7% increase in registrations year-on-year, while deliveries for the Superb – named Best Upper Medium Car for the second consecutive year in the 2017 Fleet World Honours – were up 9.8% for the Estate and 14.7% for the Hatch. Yeti deliveries rose by 22.4% year-on-year; while registrations of Fabia showed a 61.6% year-on-year growth.

Skoda also reported strong fleet interest in the new Kodiaq seven-seat SUV, which has increased the brand’s market share in the SUV segment from 3.9% to 4.7%.

Head of fleet Henry Williams said: “Whilst this year Kodiaq set an important milestone for the brand, we are already looking to the future and the launch of Karoq, our new compact SUV. Karoq will be a game changer for the segment and will be packed with technology and innovative connectivity solutions to help keep businesses connected.”
