Cupra promotes fleet TCO benefits of Formentor e-Hybrid

Cupra is highlighting the fleet benefits of its Formentor e-Hybrid plug-in hybrid SUV, which it says delivers outstanding TCO along with high levels of efficiency, safety and equipment.

Cupra’s Formentor e-Hybrid is open for orders now and UK stock is currently available

Part of the Spanish performance brand’s growing range of electrified models, the Formentor e-Hybrid is available with a choice of plug-in hybrid powertrains, providing either 245hp or the 204hp on offer in the new entry-level version. Both couple a 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine with a 116hp electric motor and 12.8kWh battery, and benefit from a Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) rating of 11% for the current tax year and 12% for 2022/23.

The Formentor e-Hybrid also brings a total cost of ownership (TCO) figure starting from £527.48 per month (equating to 31.6p per mile) for the 204hp version in V1 trim, rising to £550.40/33.0p for the V2 trim.

According to the brand, strong residual values and efficiency contribute to the low fleet operating costs. RVs of 44-45% are predicted – depending on trim – at 36 months/60,000 miles. WLTP combined fuel consumption is up to 235.4mpg while CO2 emissions start from 27g/km. The Formentor e-Hybrid also has an electric-only range of to 37 miles and can be charged from 0-100% in 3.5 hours using a 3.6kW AC charger.

The Formentor e-Hybrid also offers high levels of standard equipment, technology and driving dynamics, reinforcing its driver appeal, and was awarded a five-star safety rating by Euro NCAP.

Additionally, fleets can benefit from Cupra Connect, which features emergency and breakdown calling, service scheduling, remote access to driving data, parking position and anti-theft/area/speed alerts.

And Cupra offers a Fleet Aftersales Promise, guaranteeing support throughout the ownership period and reduced prices. Benefits include a 7.5% approved parts discount, free Vehicle Health Checks, courtesy cars and dedicated service regimes.

The Formentor e-Hybrid also comes with Cupra’s three-year/60,000-mile warranty, which is extendable to four years/75,000 miles or five years/90,000 miles, while the e-Hybrid’s battery is covered for eight years/100,000 miles.

Cupra’s Formentor e-Hybrid is open for orders now and UK stock is currently available.

It’s sold alongside the brand’s plug-in hybrid variants of the Leon and Leon Estate, and will be joined in 2022 by the Cupra Born; its first fully electric model.

Details revealed two weeks ago show the Born will offer four different motor and battery powertrain options, promising up to 231hp of power and 335 miles of range.
