The new app forms part of the Mobi2 real-time fleet management driver feedback and business private mileage solution, which was originally launched to provide fleet managers with the ability to monitor the location and status of vehicles from a mobile when they are away from the office, with no access to a laptop or PC.

The driver app, suitable for Apple, Android, Microsoft and some touchscreen Blackberry devices, will enable employees to view driver behaviour feedback, including individual analysis of their performance, to encourage improvements in driving techniques.

In addition, they will also be able to allocate business / private mileage and add trip notes to the central tracking system, as well as use the route planning functionality with distance, travel time, directions and live traffic data.
