Cox Automotive, parent firm of Manheim, has appointed Philip Nothard, previously retail and consumer editor at Cap HPI, as head of external relations.

Nothard brings more than 30 years’ experience in the motor industry, including seven years at Cap HPI and a number of dealership roles.

Commenting on his appointment, Cox Automotive CEO Michael Buxton said: “Philip will bring his informed eye to developing industry insight and market commentary that draws on the wealth of data and experience that sits within our businesses, sharing this with our customers and the automotive industry media.”
