Co-Operative Flexible Benefits branches out into car salary sacrifice with Zenith

By / 11 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The scheme joins the existing range of benefits that Co-operative Flexible Benefits offers – which include childcare vouchers, financial services and healthcare – and marks the first time a car benefit has been offered by the company.

The new partnership with vehicle management company Zenith will enable Co-operative Flexible Benefits’ customers to offer more choice to their employees, with the opportunity to make considerable savings through a salary sacrifice mechanism.  In this way, it provides a highly valuable benefit for employees that can save them money, whilst meeting their motoring needs.

From the employer’s perspective, it enhances the choice and value of an existing benefit package at little or no cost and also helps improve duty of care compliance where employees use their car for business travel.

Tim Buchan, CEO for Zenith, commented: ‘We are delighted to announce the launch of our new partnership with Co-operative Flexible Benefits. Our new Green Car Scheme enables us to add an exciting new option to employees within their existing and future customer base, at no cost to the employer. Cars generate a lot of interest and excitement and the Green Car Scheme revitalises and invigorates a flexible benefits package.’

Employees will have access to the Zenith quoting platform to explore their options, obtain personalised quotes on any number of vehicles and accessories, and place and track their order on-line.

Debbie Tankard, national sales & marketing manager for Co-operative Flexible Benefits, added: ‘As a benefits provider we are focused on changing the way employers think about the benefits they offer and working together to create something special and unique. It is important to us to only work with trusted and experienced suppliers such as Zenith. By working in partnership with Zenith, we are able to offer even more choice to our customers and a valuable alternative to the traditional commercial packages available from other providers.’
