CVR handles corporate rental-only customers and provides a national and European service for car and van rental, long term hire and mini-lease arrangements. It operates a multi-supply network with all the leading rental suppliers, who between them have over 1,000 outlets in the UK, providing around-the-clock access to a whole range of cars and vans capable of matching the requirements of corporate customers at rates said to be extremely competitive.

The company uses a web-delivered rental management system, which enables clients to book, extend and cancel daily rentals online, as well as monitoring existing rentals and accessing a comprehensive range of management reporting and invoicing.

To head up the division, CLM has appointed Gemma Bathurst, who brings over seven years' experience in the daily rental market with a number of companies, including Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Alliance Asset Management.

'I'm looking forward enormously to the challenges of developing and growing our corporate rental offering, CVR, and making its many benefits more widely known,' she said.

'Although still a relatively young company, CVR already has a strong and loyal customer base. But we'd like to expand that and make our services more widely available. Amongst other companies, we will be targeting SMEs in the local area, such as Milton Keynes and Northampton.

'We are also looking at extending our product ranges, such as our mini-lease offering, to provide customers with greater flexibility and ensuring that we are capable of meeting their complete mobility requirements,' she added.
