City Auction Group invests in major technology update

Available 24/7 from a smartphone, tablet or desktop, corporate vendors can now access a new management solution featuring: live vehicle recovery lifecycle data; centralised management of vehicle movement logistics; inspection reports with digital images; tactical refurbishment requests and approvals; simplified V5 application process and vehicle remarketing information.

Users are provided with an easy-to-use centralised dashboard, from where they can manage vehicle assets, assign recovery actions to agents, manage and view inspection and condition reports and order refurbishment and preparation for sales and report on sales outcomes.

The software provides web portal access for agents to collect their outstanding jobs. It also allows users to interface with the vendor’s internal systems, as well as their own directly, for instant transfer of vehicle information, actions required and inspection reports.

The revamped website features an online bidding facility with 24/7 timed or ‘buy now’ settings and storage of NAMA graded inspection reports and mechanical health checks.

City Auction Group has also launched an enhanced version of its smartphone app, which now features instant access to vehicle condition reports, more detailed grading and images and ‘buy now’ options.
