Citroën enhances spec and real-world range on ë-C4 Electric

Citroën has updated the C4 and ë-C4 Electric for 2022, including revised specification as well as enhanced real-world range on its electric hatchback.

Citroën ë-C4 Electric

As part of the changes, the brand said it’s made technical enhancements to the ë-C4 Electric, improving driving efficiency and enhancing real-world vehicle range under a variety of driving conditions. Its WLTP-rated range remains at 217 miles from the 50KWh battery pack though.

Both the C4 and the ë-C4 Electric – which accounts for more than a fifth of all C4 orders – also get revised equipment. The existing Smart Pad Support feature is now provided on the entry-level Sense trim, ensuring it’s standard right across the range. It includes a universal electronic tablet holder and a screen filter so it’s not visible to the driver at any time.

All C4 models get revised alloy wheels, while the Obsidian Black metallic body colour has been replaced with Perla Nera Black.

Citroën has also tweaked the C4 model line-up, in line with strong customer bias towards upper trim levels. As a result, the Sense Plus BlueHDi 130 EAT8 automatic and Shine PureTech 155 EAT8 automatic will be moved to a stock-only position. Both engines will remain available in the Shine Plus trim.

Prices for the ë-C4 Electric start from £30,895 (incl. the PiCG) while the C4 starts from £20,320.
