Citroën EVs and PHEVs to get free eight-year/100,000-mile assistance cover
Citroën UK is providing free eight-year/100,000-mile roadside assistance cover for all its new battery and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
The offer includes roadside assistance and recovery, assistance at home, onward travel and European cover, and spans across the brand’s range of BEV and PHEV models – including the new ë-C4 electric hatch and ë-SpaceTourer MPV, as well as the C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid and the soon-to-be-launched ë-Berlingo electric MPV.
Also included are the brand’s electric light commercial vehicles, including the new ë-Dispatch medium van, as well as the forthcoming ë-Berlingo Van and ë-Relay large van.
The cover provides 24-hour assistance across the UK and Europe and if the vehicle is sold within the free cover period, the remainder is transferred to the new owner.
The new offer runs alongside the existing eight-year/100,000 mile traction battery warranty on all new Citroën electric and hybrid models, which ensures that battery performance is maintained at 70% of the original battery capacity.
An extended five-year/100,000-mile vehicle warranty is also being offered on all vehicles ordered through the online Citroën store, as announced last month. The offer was previously only available on new ‘C-Series’ models – and subsequently the new C4 and ë-C4.
Retail orders of the ë-C4 and C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid continue to benefit from a fully installed Pod Point 7kW domestic charging station, worth £549 (after OZEV grant).
