Citroën C3 updated with new styling and comfort features

Citroën has revised its third-generation C3 hatchback with exterior and interior styling additions and the introduction of new comfort-focused features.

The updated C3 will arrive in UK dealerships from June 2020.

Launched at the end of 2016, the C3 is the brand’s global best-seller, with over 750,000 sales achieved over the last three years. It also fares well in the UK fleet sector; fleet and business registrations rose by 12.6% in 2019.

The facelifted version, which arrives in UK dealerships from June 2020, features new front-end styling inspired by the CXPERIENCE Concept from the 2016 Paris Motor Show and including updated LED headlights and new Airbump designs.

It also offers extended customisation potential, with 97 exterior combinations available, including four colour packs, four roof colours, two interior ‘ambiences’ and a new 17-inch alloy wheel design.

On-board features include new Citroën Advanced Comfort seats, along a range of connected services and new front parking sensors that join the existing driver assistance technologies; a total of 11 functions are offered, including hill start assist, active safety brake, road sign recognition and automatic switching of main beam headlights.

Engine line-up see the range of Euro 6-compliant petrol and diesels carried over, including the three-cylinder PureTech 83 and 110 petrols – the latter now offered with the EAT6 automatic gearbox – and the BlueHDi 100 diesel.

UK order books open in April 2020, and first customer deliveries start in June.
