Citroën C3 Aircross SUV updated with new design and enhanced comfort
Citroën has revealed its facelifted C3 Aircross SUV, which introduces new design and comfort features.
On sale from later this spring, the updated version gets an entirely redesigned front face. It’s based on the Cxperience concept car from 2016 and first introduced on the new C3 in 2020, and features a new LED headlight signature.
The bolder new look is continued with lower-body and wheel-arch protection, front and rear skid plates, and stylish roof bar.
Citroën has also enhanced the personalisation possibilities on the updated C3 Aircross. There are now 70 exterior combinations in total and three interior themes or ‘ambiences’. It’s also available with new 16 and 17-inch diamond cut or full black alloy wheels that feature a completely new design.
Comfort is also improved with the addition of new Advanced Comfort seats, first seen on C4 Cactus and C5 Aircross SUV and focused on bringing a better experience for all onboard through visual comfort, initial comfort, postural comfort and dynamic comfort.
Latest onboard technologies include a new, larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, used to access the Citroën Connect Nav functionality, along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Wireless smartphone charging and Citroën Connect Assist are also available.
The updated C3 Aircross also comes with up to 12 driving aids, including a colour head-up display, Active Safety Brake and automatic high/low-beam headlights.
It can also be equipped with the brand’s Grip Control with Hill Descent Assist.
Engine line-up covers a range of PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel units. From launch, this will include the 110hp PureTech petrol with six-speed manual and the 130hp PureTech with six-speed automatic. Diesels cover the 110hp BlueHDi with six-speed manual and the 120hp BlueHDi with six-speed automatic.
The facelifted C3 Aircross SUV arrives in UK showrooms in June 2021. Prices are yet to be announced.
