Chevrolet targets fleets with new Captiva LTZ

The carmaker says that the range-topping model offers the answer for fleet managers seeking to offer executives a high-spec SUV option at a very competitive price.

Standard equipment in the seven-seater includes full leather trim with heated front seats, electronic climate control, cruise control, electrically-adjustable driver's seat, automatic headlamp control, rain sensor wipers, and electrically-folding mirrors. as well as a reversing camera, which operates through the 7-inch satellite navigation unit display screen.

Safety equipment featured includes ABS, ESC and traction control and there are both front and side airbags for the driver and front passenger, plus roof curtain airbags. The Isofix child seat restraint system is fitted along with child locks on the rear doors.

Keith Jones, Chevrolet national fleet sales manager, commented: 'This is a high-quality SUV that matches more premium marques on specification, comfort, ride and handling. The initial surge in demand suggests that we have absolutely the right product offer and that Captiva LTZ is a car that fleet managers and company car drivers want to see on their choice lists from which to choose.'
