The new 2.1 version will see a host of enhancements and additional functionality including a more sophisticated report writing tool, which will enable faster and more efficient access to specific data during the reporting process. Other benefits include Excel-style browse filtering, improved data rules functionality and an odometer correction tool.

The company added that bringing customers together to share and understand their use of the system is pivotal in the development of Chevin’s future offering but also in helping its customers get more from their relationship with the company.

Ashley Sowerby, managing director at Chevin, said: ‘Offering the ability to network with industry colleagues and explore new ways of allowing technology to streamline numerous business processes, in fleet and beyond, is something that I’m proud to be facilitating here this week.

Chevin’s two-day customer user group event was attended by a number of delegates from the firm’s global customer base and was built around the theme “Gather, Share, Change”.

‘FleetWave 2.1 represents a commitment to our customers that we will continue to invest in and enhance Chevin’s product offering; that we will listen to the opinions of customers and build their requirements into our software as standard; and that customers can rest assured that they are receiving the very best the market has to offer.’

The upgraded version of FleetWave will be available to most customers currently using the latest version of the software at no additional cost. As part of Chevin’s on-going commitment to enhance the product offering and continue to offer value for money to customers, the firm will be delivering regular micro upgrades to the system as standard. It is expected that the upgrades will typically occur between every six and 12 months from now on.
