Chelmer Housing Partnership signs van contract with TransLinc

By / 14 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

Chelmer Housing Partnership (CHP) is to use Lincolnshire-based TransLinc to supply 21 Ford Transit vehicles throughout 2010, with potential for another order for a further 12 vans next year.

Mark Stevens, CHP Logistics Manager, said: ‘We are delighted to have awarded the contract to TransLinc following an intensive tendering process.

‘We look forward to a productive working relationship with them as we were very impressed by their extensive client list, long fleet management history and their continued commitment to customer service.’

CHP has run Transit vans since 2003, and the new, more efficient vehicles supplied by TransLinc will help the company to reduce its fleet emissions and fuel bills through improved fuel consumption.

The vehicles, which will be fitted out with racking systems, will be used by CHP's internal trades team, including repairs and maintenance operatives, the gardening and eco-team, and Decent Homes tradesmen.
