Charlie Brooks has been appointed as the new strategy director at epyx.

A qualified chartered accountant and graduate of the University of Bristol, Brooks has previously worked for KPMG UK as a strategy consultation. He was most recently at Achilles Information, where he was global operations and strategy director.

He will be working mainly on strategy for epyx but will also assist at sister company r2c Online and parent company Fleetcor Technologies Inc.

Brooks said: “This is a transformational and exciting moment in the motor industry with change driven by everything from electric vehicles and connected cars to potentially dramatic shifts in mobility and how and where we work.

“As yet, it is unclear exactly how all of these trends will affect business travel and transportation but it is clear that change is happening, perhaps at a fundamental level. Businesses need to develop an understanding and adapt.
