Stockport-based contract hire and leasing provider Vehicle Consulting has appointed a new managing director as co-founder Simeon Briggs announces his retirement.

The move sees co-owner Lee Wolstenholme assume overall control and leadership, joined at board level by incumbent business development manager Craig Davy, who has also been part of the business since it was founded 18 years ago.

Wolstenholme will become even more immersed in working with fleets and shaping the brokerage’s overall strategy and success, while Davy will play a key role in leading significant current and future projects to completion.

“With a number of our team having been with us for a considerable time, Simeon’s retirement for personal reasons is a very poignant moment for many of the Vehicle Consulting family. Each one of us wishes Simeon the very best for the future and is keen to continue growing the business he founded and has been instrumental in building,” Wolstenholme said.

“For our clients, suppliers and other stakeholders it is very much ‘business as usual’ for Vehicle Consulting and I am looking forward to working ever more closely with Craig in taking our firm to the next level,” he added.
