Rick Wilson has joined fleet management and leasing firm CBVC in the newly created role of business development manager.

His appointment follows recent significant contract wins at the firm, which have seen the business expand its cradle-to-grave approach, creating the need for a specialist business development role. The position will see Wilson primarily be responsible for strategic sales development.

Wilson joins from Logical Vehicle Management, where he spent nine years in a similar role, and has previously worked at Lombard Vehicle Management as a sales executive and in a customer service role at HSBC.

Mike Manners, managing director at CBVC, said: “We have been searching for some time for someone of Rick’s calibre and experience.
