Camera Telematics’ partnership with Accident Buddy – the insurance claims app available to businesses operating fleets for fast, reliable incident reporting and accurate FNOL (first notification of loss) – sees the company supply its Street Angel devices that offer a combined camera and telematics solution.

Accident Buddy appointed Camera Telematics as its preferred supplier of onboard cameras, based on the device’s reliable and accurate data. This data is admissible as evidence, should it be required, to defend or mitigate an insurance claim.

Simon Catt, director of Camera Telematics commented: “The Street Angel solution delivers Accident Buddy’s Business Plus client’s irrefutable evidence when it comes to capturing footage of a road incident but also – most importantly – complete protection against fraudulent insurance claims and reliable accident management support.”

Martin Haggarty, director of Accident Buddy added: “The decision to appoint Camera Telematics and its ‘Street Angel’ solution as our exclusive onboard vehicle camera for our Business Plus Service was based on several factors; Street Angel has the most advanced camera solution available. It’s manufactured to Camera Telematics’ exact specifications, and most importantly, we can rely on them – they are not selling Street Angel and walking away, but constantly developing improvements which will not just benefit Accident Buddy, but more importantly our customers”.
