C3 Aircross becomes latest Citroën to receive range updates
Citroën is updating its C3 Aircross compact SUV with a number of changes from October 2019.
Following hot on the heels of the revisions to the C3 and C4 Cactus, the changes to the C3 Aircross – the brand’s second best-selling model in the UK, behind the C3 supermini – focus on adding greater efficiency, enhanced comfort and specification, and new colour options to the ‘Flair’ top-level trim. As with the other models, this is taking the majority of demand – it has so far accounted for over three-quarters of 2019 sales.
Under the changes, the trim will incorporate the ‘Urban Red’ interior ambiance, as standard along with an ergonomic folding driver’s armrest and seat back pockets.
It also gets a new, and exclusive, Euro 6.3 compliant 1.2-litre PureTech 130 EAT6 automatic powertrain, which meets RDE2 standards and is priced at £22,080.
The existing ‘Origins’ Collector’s Edition – introduced earlier this year for the brand’s centenary – will be retained alongside the entry-level ‘Feel’ trim level, both of which now get new ‘A-Class’ low rolling resistance tyres for further improved efficiency.
Customers can also specify Citroën’s Grip Control system with Hill Descent Assist as an option.
Prices start from £18,225 for the PureTech 110 S&S six-speed manual in Feel trim.
