BVRLA welcomes DVLA changes
Announced yesterday (27th February), the changes to the DVLA come as Roads Minister Stephen Hammond accepts the recommendations made in Mary Reilly’s report, which include accelerating DVLA’s digital transformation and reducing the burden on businesses.
‘Like the minister, we agree with every recommendation made by Mary Reilly and we thank her for the time she spent listening to our concerns,’ said BVRLA chief executive Gerry Keaney.
‘This review outlines some ambitious goals for the DVLA and highlights just what an important year it is going to be for the agency. We look forward to working with the DVLA and believe these changes will deliver major cost and efficiency savings to our members.’
