BVRLA rolls out market insight programme to support recovery

The BVRLA is partnering with some of the fleet sector’s leading research and data providers for a new comprehensive market insight programme to support its members.

BVRLA chief executive Gerry Keaney said the work would help with the “astonishing” pace of change in the sector

The work will help fleets and mobility services providers to understand where they stand and where the market is heading in the future through tie-ups with APD, Auto Trader and Cap HPI.

Their experts will work with the BVRLA throughout 2021 for its market insight programme, which provides a variety of different formats. A series of bi-monthly Industry Outlook webinars feature the latest market data and panel discussions while a web channel includes expert blogs and video interviews, providing the latest perspective from across the sector.

Meanwhile, the association’s quarterly Leasing Outlook report provides a detailed market analysis and forecasts of the car and van leasing market.

APD will provide insight on the impact and opportunities for members of changing expectations within fleets and drivers, while Auto Trader will give a comprehensive view of the new and used car market, including current supply/demand balance, and, critically, what is on the horizon. And Cap HPI will share insight and data from its range of current and forecast valuations, alongside advice from its industry experts.

BVRLA chief executive Gerry Keaney said the work would help with the “astonishing” pace of change in the sector.

“Companies are looking for up-to-date information and actionable insights that can help them make the right decisions and plan for the future.

“Collaboration is key and we are delighted to be working with these partners in providing BVRLA members with the information they need.”
