End-user fleet members welcomed by BVRLA
The British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) is to open its membership to fleet operators from January next year.
Jay Parmar, director of policy and membership, announced yesterday (Thursday, September 20), at the annual BT Fleet Forum in London, which discussed the ‘future of fleet: “I’ve been lobbying for a number of years and I’ve never seen the number of issues that fleets are having to face.”
He went on to tell delegates, that the BVRLA is influencing the right organisations and actually reaching ministers and decision makers while discussing plans for clean air zones. Ensuring the voice of fleet is heard at the highest level of government.
Established in 1967, the BVRLA is the UK trade body for the vehicle rental and leasing sector. Representing 900 organisations, it is responsible for a combined fleet of almost five-million UK cars vans and trucks.
