Brake to offer low-cost seminars on managing at-work road risk
Sponsored by Arval and Interactive Driving Systems, the seminars will take place in Huddersfield on 1 December 2015 and Swindon on 25 February 2016.
The seminars will look at why fleet managers need to develop a comprehensive work-related road safety programme, and how to develop their programme. The importance of proper data recording and analysis, and how to use data to evaluate road safety risk and inform a work-related road safety programme will also come under focus.
Ellie Pearson, professional engagement manager at Brake, said: “At-work drivers are significantly more likely to be involved in a crash than people driving on their own time, that’s why it’s imperative for employers to properly manage their work-related road risk. This seminar will prove invaluable to any organisation looking to introduce or improve an existing road risk programme.”
