Cyan Finance has hired James Jean-Louis, formerly of BP Chargemaster, as sustainable finance – eMobility lead.

Jean-Louis was the founder and managing director of Charging Solutions, which was acquired by Chargemaster in 2014. He joined Chargemaster as group commercial director and helped grow the business, which was then acquired by BP in 2018 and became part of BP Chargemaster.

Under his new role at Cyan Finance, Jean-Louis will help drive forward the firm’s activities in providing fleet finance within the eMobility sector.

Jean-Louis commented: “I’m delighted to have joined Cyan at this exciting moment. The passion and energy of the team here is infectious. Having been in e-mobility since its infancy and navigated two successful exits I can say that the sector is now readily investable and I’m looking forward to helping fund it.”
