BCA’s new Doncaster facility offers de-fleet services serving both national and regional customers

The 12-acre site specialises in pre-delivery inspection (PDI), in-life fleet management and end-of-life refurbishment for manufacturers and volume fleet operators, and is expected to handle around 9,000 vehicles a year.

The move follows the company’s recent announcement of its strategic expansion across the UK to add capacity to the network, which has seen the integration of the recently acquired Scottish Motor Auction Group (SMA) business and new facilities spanning 36 acres at Europe’s largest remarketing centre at Blackbushe, ten acres at Bedford and 6.5 acres at Manchester.

Later this year, the BCA network will be further expanded with the opening of the all-new Perry Barr, Birmingham remarketing centre located just off the M6.

Phil Walker, regional manager at BCA Technical Services, said: “The Doncaster operation will provide a full range of de-fleet and technical services to ensure these valuable assets are processed efficiently and effectively. Highly trained technicians will ensure that brand values are protected by completing work to exacting manufacturer standards and ensuring vehicles are in the best possible condition when they enter the remarketing sector.

“As the de-fleet process becomes more complex, due to an ever increasing range of specification and connected technologies, we have ensured that we continue to invest in training our technicians to the highest standard.”
