Stuart Pearson BCA MD UK Remarketing (L) with Simon Henstock COO UK Remarketing

Stuart Pearson has been appointed to the position of managing director, UK Remarketing at British Car Auctions (BCA) with immediate effect.

Pearson has been with BCA for over 21 years, starting as a management trainee at Derby.  He was promoted to manage BCA Preston in 2000 and then managed the new auction supercentre in Bedford on its opening in 2005. For the last 12 months he held the role of operations director, BCA UK Remarketing.

In his new role, Pearson will have full day to day management responsibility for BCA’s 23-strong auction centre network, with the team of regional operations directors reporting to him.

Pearson will continue to report to Simon Henstock, BCA UK chief operating officer, Remarketing.

Simon Henstock commented: “We are delighted Stuart has accepted this role, following a highly successful year as Operations Director.  This new appointment aligns our Remarketing Division structure with our other operating divisions and will ensure that we are prepared for the growth that our business expects to achieve.”
