Autorola launches new online remarketing service

By / 11 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The new service takes unsold vehicles and enters them immediately with photos and a detailed description onto Autorola’s online selling platform used by just over 2,000 registered buyers.

The service is said to be already proving successful with the leasing, rental and dealer sectors, particularly in the current used market where first-time sale conversion rates can be as low as 50%.

UK sales director Jon Mitchell said: ‘By putting a non sold vehicle on immediate sale to thousands of new online buyers avoids it having to wait another week or two to go through physical auction. In that time there may have been a drop in book values for that specific vehicle, losing the vendor hundreds of pounds.

‘It also helps physical auctions move the car off their site quickly, where storage space can sometimes be at a premium.’

The vehicle’s new owner becomes responsible for collecting the vehicle, avoiding any new vehicle movement costs for either the vendor or auction provider.

Mitchell added: ‘It’s a great example of how we can add value to physical auction without incurring any extra costs for the vendor or auction provider.’
