The London handover centre is easy to reach from anywhere in or around the Capital and includes facilities such as technical workshop, where every car is thoroughly checked and prepared. Over 40 photos of each car are taken in a specially designed photographic studio. These are uploaded to Autoquake.com so customers can see exactly what they are buying before visiting the handover centre.

'We're delighted to open the doors to our new London site,' said the company's CEO, Dermot Halpin. 'This will help us serve the fleet market in the south east and further open up our cars to the large London population of private buyers. Already one third of consumers buying a car from us in Leeds come from London.' 

The expansion into London follows a rapid expansion of supply of cars into Autoquake, which has caused the existing facility in Leeds to reach capacity.

Mr Halpin continued: 'It's an exciting time for everyone at Autoquake. We have more cars for sale than ever before. Car buyers are really embracing internet shopping, and our new London site means Autoquake.com is ready to meet the increasing demand for quality used cars online.'

An additional third site is planned for 2011.
