Automotive Leasing gains place on Procurement for Housing framework

By / 11 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

Procurement for Housing, the purchasing consortium for the social housing sector, provides services to 800 members from around the UK. Automotive Leasing was awarded ‘first ranked’ supplier status for “Lot  1 – Vehicle Lease, Contract Hire & Associated Products & Services”, with particular acclaim being reserved for quality, technical merit and customer service, with Automotive Leasing scoring 49.60% out of a potential 52%.

Through this arrangement, Automotive Leasing vehicles and associated services such as daily rental and fleet management will be made available under the Vehicle Leasing lot and the Daily Rental lot to housing associations, Local authorities, councils, registered social landlords, arms length management organisations and other public sector departments such as Defence and Education.

The customer fleet type on this framework will vary from commercial-only fleets to those clients with a mixed car and commercial fleet, through to other clients with specialist vehicles, and Automotive Leasing has highlighted its ability to provide any vehicle from small cars to commercial vehicles and specialist heavy commercial vehicles where required via leasing, short/long-term daily rental or a combination of the two.

Due to this “first ranked” supplier status, clients can now offer a direct award to Automotive Leasing via the PfH Framework for requirements that fall into the scope of “Lot 1”, rather than having to conduct any further competition.

Tim Meadows, brand director, Automotive Leasing, said: ‘We’re delighted to have secured a place on the Procurement for Housing framework once again. This unprecedented achievement is a testament to the hard work of our team and the strong delivery in previous years.

‘To gain particular recognition for quality, technical merit and customer service is a reflection of our dedication to become “leaders in leasing”.’
