Auto Windscreens completes acquisition of AA AutoWindshields

The agreement sees AA AutoWindshields’ Preston offices and its 200 staff and technicians integrated with Auto Windscreens. In addition, under a 10-year partnership arrangement, the AA will continue to use Auto Windscreens to deliver glass repair and replacement services for AA members; its business-to-business and insurance customers.

Kevin Spencer, group CEO of parent company Markerstudy, advised of the deal that: “It was imperative to us to execute a swift completion, in order to put at rest the minds of the 200 AA AutoWindshields staff who have now joined the group.  Throughout an acquisition, our goal is always to reduce anxiety and afford reassurance, and my management team, headed by Chris Thornton, has moved heaven and earth to achieve this; working tirelessly to ensure the needs of both staff and customers have been met and exceeded.”

The AA AutoWindshields acquisition is Markerstudy’s fifth company purchase this year, alongside Ultimate Insurance Company, The Policy Shop, the UK motor business of Chaucer and Lionheart Insurance Services.
