Audi’s first electric car pricing and spec announced
Order books are now open for the Audi e-tron in the UK, with prices starting at £71,490 (exc. Plug-in Car Grant).
The e-tron and e-tron Launch Edition models are joined by an additional Edition 1 model that offers a unique specification exclusively to pre-reserved depositors.
Specification for the car includes 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, electric quattro drive, adaptive air suspension and extensive in-car technology including Audi Virtual Cockpit, MMI Navigation plus and Audi connect.
The Launch Edition adds virtual door mirrors, Matrix LED lighting, upgraded Valcona leather and 21-inch alloy wheels – and commands £82,240 (exc. Plug-in Car Grant).
The e-tron’s 95kWh lithium-ion battery serves up 241 miles (WLTP) to a single charge and can be recharged at 150kW charging points to 80% in around 30 minutes from either of its two wing-mounted charge ports.
Powering the car along are two electric motors with a combined output of 408hp, providing 5.7 second 0-62mph acceleration and a top speed of 124mph.
Deliveries for the fully electric SUV will begin in April, the company confirmed.
