Aston Barclay receives LeasePlan Award for strong Q1 performance

By / 12 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

In winning the award, the Wiltshire auction house fended off competition from eight auction centres used by LeasePlan strategically situated across the UK to dispose of its vehicles.

Together with the impressive silverware, LeasePlan provided Aston Barclay Westbury with vehicles for an additional “reward sale”.

Paul Mason, general manager of Auction Sales for LeasePlan, said: 'We have an established auction schedule and our quarterly accreditation process is pivotal in monitoring such performance and helps us to reward those sites that have provided exemplary results, reflecting our "we win, you win" philosophy, which culminated in an additional reward sale.'

He added: 'Quarter one is typically a strong performing period, during which time Westbury demonstrated that it can perform ahead of the pack and this award is an acknowledgement of this achievement.  Delivery of this performance is not by chance and demonstrates Westbury's strong focus on its buyer base, which is key to these results.'

Barry Watts, Aston Barclay’s Operations director, said: 'It’s a highly competitive arena, so being named by LeasePlan as its leading auction house in the first quarter of 2012 is a tremendous achievement for the entire team here at Aston Barclay Westbury.'
