Peter, who will take up his new post on 01 December 2012, joins AAL from MAN truck and Bus Ltd, where he was an Area Sales executive.

AAL is a dynamic UK wide organisation that delivers specialist commercial vehicle asset finance, contract hire and fleet management to businesses in the transport and logistics sector. The company covers the whole of the UK from offices in Leeds, Strathaven, South Lanarkshire and its head office in Wolverhampton.

He then spent 17 years with Hartshorne Motor Services Ltd before joining Volvo Trucks and then returning to Hartshorne as Group Sales Manager. When the business was sold to another dealer group he moved to MAN.

Commenting on his new post Peter said: 'I am looking forward to the challenge of working for Asset Alliance. They are already making a name for themselves in the haulage industry even though they have only been in existence for a short time. We have a good story to tell and I’m looking forward to securing more business for AAL in the Midlands.'

Peter will be part of the sales team reporting to Ian Padley, AAL’s head of Contract Hire and Fleet Management.

Ian Padley said: 'We have set ourselves demanding sales targets for our first three years. The addition of Peter Clark strengthens our team, particularly in the Midlands, a part of the UK that he knows well. We are looking forward to working with him.'
