ARI reshapes fleet management approach under major restructure
ARI has undergone a major restructure that will reshape how it provides fleet management in the UK.
Following the rapid expansion of its FlexLease leasing portfolio, the business has launched two new fleet management divisions that will deliver two different solutions to cater for distinct fleet types.
The first division, internally called Complex, has been created for businesses needing specific and bespoke management for legislative and regulatory requirements. Headed up by former head of client relations Nimesh Chauhan, it will help fleets seeking solutions such as for O-licences, Earned Recognition and other compliance processes, and specialist procurement, service, maintenance and repair. Typically, this covers heavy and specialist mixed vehicle fleets operating in essential services.
The other division, dubbed Complete and led by former UK operations director Matt Cranny will deliver fleet management for businesses running vehicles that do not have such legislative and regulatory requirements but still need fleet management, data insights and SMR provision. In this way, the complete offering standardises and streamlines many processes for the management of cars and vans, bringing insight through data.
ARI managing director Nick Caller explained the implementation of the new organisation model: “ARI has a strong reputation for delivering excellent customer service and fleet management, and as we have expanded following the introduction of FlexLease we have taken the opportunity to segment our business and align our teams directly to the type of customer they support.
“By doing this, our teams can better focus on customers’ needs and, in doing so, help them achieve their objectives by offering transparency, agility and a true return on investment.”
ARI added that the creation of expert teams in both fields of fleet management helps further deliver on the promises of its FlexLease offering, allowing businesses to run their vehicles on their terms, understanding costs and status in real-time and choosing when to de-fleet.
“Launching Complex and Complete is tremendously exciting for us as it is the next step in delivering a new type of funding and fleet management operation concentrated solely on managing vehicles exactly as the customer wants, rather than in the bundled, aggregated way the fleet industry has traditionally operated,” said Caller.
“Offering distinct Complex and Complete services will allow customers to be sure that the services and expertise they are buying from us is exactly what they need for their own purposes, and Nimesh and Matt, with their combined decades of experience in fleet management and leasing, will head up the teams to ensure we are even more focused on delivering exceptional fleet management services for our clients,” added Caller.
