ARI Fleet UK to drive transparent funding solutions under new role
ARI Fleet UK is continuing to drive the launch of its new funding solutions with the creation of a new business development manager role to help fleets implement the schemes.
Launched earlier this spring, the new finance lease solutions for cars and vans enable customers to source vehicles with no mileage limits, or end-of-life damage charges, and are intended to provide fleets with increased transparency and cost control, disrupting the current practices within the sector.
Building on the launch of the schemes, Gareth Hanvey has joined ARI Fleet UK in the newly-created position of business development manager, fleet leasing, and will consult with customers on the solutions. This includes developing a service for operators to have bespoke fleet management packages and terms drawn up for them, drawing on ARI’s whole-life cost reporting, which is described by the firm as “exceptionally accurate”.
Hanvey, who has more than 15 years’ experience in the vehicle leasing and acquisition sector, said: “It’s very exciting to come to ARI, because the innovative funding solutions it offers are genuinely new and disruptive, and ARI works collaboratively and closely with its customers, rather than offering simple one-size-fits-all deals.
“Finance lease as a funding solution is not new, but ARI’s application of it is. We are using incredibly accurate reporting technology and ‘marginal gain’ insights to create bespoke packages for every business, as well as allowing them to see and understand in real time all their costs throughout the lifecycle of the vehicles.
“By studying our customers’ business plans and working structures, and matching the support and vehicles they need to those, we can build tailored leasing packages that suit every customer.”
Hanvey’s appointment is part of a concerted growth strategy to move further into the funding sector by ARI.
