ARI has promoted its former head of asset funding, Rory Mackinnon, the role of UK sales director.

Mackinnon replaces Jason Chamberlain, who has moved to Rivus in the same role, and will now oversee the development and growth of ARI’s fleet portfolio across the United Kingdom.

He joined ARI from GE Capital in 2016, and, as head of asset funding, focused on building ARI’s portfolio. He holds a degree in Management of Organisations from Loughborough University and CIMA in Financial Accounting.

“Rory has been instrumental in the development and growth of our business over the last two years, consistently balancing keen leadership and business acumen with a drive for results,” said ARI managing director Nick Caller. “I believe Rory is without question, the right person to now lead our overall sales efforts and inject a true winning mentality and delivery of business outcomes for our customers.”

ARI UK’s Nimesh Chauhan has also been promoted, and will serve as head of client relations. Chauhan has been with ARI since 2017, serving first as strategic account manager and then manager of account management. He holds degrees in Sales from University of Sunderland and a BA in Business Management from Coventry University.

“Nimesh and I have been working more closely together over the last few months, and I am excited to continue this and in doing so, get closer to our end customer,” added Nick Caller. “Creating ‘Raving Fans’ across our customer base remains core to our DNA, and I am confident Nimesh’s customer-first mindset will place our customers in a position to win.”
