Ambrosetti acquisition reinforces BCA Marketplace range of services

BCA sales director Craig Purvey highlighted the firm’s ability to deliver complex de-fleet and remarketing packages to motor industry customers including reconditioning, conversion, PDI, servicing, storage and onward logistics movements to BCA’s 23-strong nationwide network of remarketing centres.

This combination of services allows BCA to direct vehicles to regional refurbishment centres or remarketing centres as appropriate, maximising returns and speeding up the sale process.

Craig Purvey said: “BCA is uniquely placed to deliver a range of linked services to the motor industry through the combined infrastructure of regional de-fleet facilities, vehicle logistics and preparation centres and physical, hybrid and digital remarketing channels.

“For the first time in the UK marketplace, BCA is offering the economies of scale and diversity of services that meet the needs of an impressive portfolio of customers including vehicle manufacturers and importers, major fleets and dealer groups with touch points at every stage of the vehicle’s lifecycle. It is a compelling proposition that BCA is delivering and one not seen before in the UK marketplace.”

He continued: “With the acquisition of Ambrosetti, BCA has the capability to provide services right along the automotive value chain; from factory gates or port with technical and logistics for new vehicles to refurbishment, storage and logistics for used vehicles and the core remarketing and auction operation.”

Purvey concluded: “BCA is now offering a full and flexible logistics, defleet and refurbishment service together with new car preparation to our OEM, Fleet and Dealer customers. Our capacity and footprint uniquely positions BCA to support the needs of all our customers in the automotive market and supply chain with an end-to-end service offering.”
