Amber:Assist enhances fleet accident management services

Accident aftercare and ongoing mobility specialist Amber:Assist has teamed up with VisionTrack to enhance its service offering to car and van fleets.

Ian Ambrose, director at Amber:Assist

Under the partnership, Amber:Assist is now offering VisionTrack’s vehicle CCTV and video telematics systems to bring added value to fleet customers as part of its one-stop-shop accident management solution.

Integrating VisionTrack’s IoT platform with Amber:Assist’s internal systems means the company’s response team will have access to video footage and supporting data to assist with its First Notification of Loss (FNOL) managed service. Real-time FNOL alerts will be received at Amber:Assist’s UK response centre, so an agent will be able to take action within seconds of a road collision occurring and immediately view what has happened. Meanwhile, driver behaviour data will also be used to better manage fleet risk on behalf of the company’s customers.

Ian Ambrose, director at Amber:Assist, said: “The connected vehicle cameras will provide our response centre with real-time visibility over all collisions and driving events to help them achieve clear insurance savings, avoid operational downtime and improve road safety.”

Graham Gardner, business development director at Amber:Assist, added: “VisionTrack’s industry-leading connected vehicle cameras are hugely complementary with our accident management solution, so it makes perfect sense to integrate them seamlessly with our own technology systems. This partnership will also provide an excellent opportunity for us to develop joint-initiatives in the future to benefit both our customer bases.”
