The award recognises outstanding individuals working in the leasing and mobility industry who have gone ‘above and beyond’ over the past year.

Broad was one of three individuals picked out of nominations from across the leasing and rental industry, and received her award from BVRLA chief executive Gerry Keaney at the BVRLA Annual Dinner in London, following a nomination from her line manager, Miles Tetlow, head of collections.

Tetlow commented: “Hannah exemplifies everything we look for in an Alphabet employee and we think she is an unsung industry hero. Hannah is a passionate, positive, collaborative and truly customer-focused person which is great to have around the office. Crucially, she understands that her role – in a sensitive and potentially stressful area such as Financial Collections – has a significant impact on our commercial and customer relationships. Despite the difficult circumstances of the conversations that we have in the Collections area, Hannah proves that we can provide a positive experience in terms of our approach, attitude and way that we handle these issues. “

The awards marks the first time since 2012 that an Alphabet employee has been recognised among the ‘BVRLA Heroes’.
