Alphabet’s broker network exceeds £100m leasing milestone in 12 months

By / 5 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

Led by Gavin Davies, head of indirect at Alphabet, with a dedicated, growing team of experts, the network comprises just under 40 well-established Partner businesses focuses on the “Three R’s” – Renewals, Retention and Referrals.

Since its launch, the Alphabet Partner channel has already delivered over £100m in vehicle leasing to UK businesses, achieving a customer portfolio of over 5,500 vehicles within less than 12 months.

Vehicles delivered to customers cover a broad range of cars and commercial vehicles from all manufacturers, with Ford, Nissan and Mercedes-Benz accounting for 40% of these vehicles to date.

Electric vehicles are also covered, with some partners specialising in this market to complement Alphabet’s commitment to EVs with AlphaElectric. As a result a total of 454 EVs have been delivered during the past 12 months, including six BMW i8 supercars.

Gavin Davies, head of indirect at Alphabet, said: “With Alphabet Partner our mantra was to be different to the rest of the market and what had been done before. We wanted to create something which stood out from the competition.

“We created this exclusive ‘club’ of around 40 of the very best and most established brokers, out of over 1,800 brokers in the UK. We also made the commitment that this would be a true partnership approach, which was why it was so important to identify the right partners initially. Our partners have already and, will continue in the future, to play a massively important role in how we shape Alphabet Partner and develop our market-leading IT platform, icon.”

He added: “Honest and open lines of communication with our Partners has created real trust and belief within the network – as well as with the OEMs across the board that we have significant relationships with. It’s a win-win scenario as we can provide our partners with exclusive, small-scale tactical offers from the manufacturers and in return our partners can deliver profitable, sustainable volume to OEMs. As we move forward we’ll continue to live by our principles of working hand in hand with our partner brokers to take Alphabet Partner to the next level together.”
