Alphabet retains Crown Commercial Service framework agreement
The CCS is a public sector organisation which acts on behalf of the UK Government to drive savings for the taxpayer through improved quality of commercial and procurement activities. Its procurement arrangements can be used by central government departments and organisations across the public sector, including local government, health, education, not-for-profit and devolved administrations.
“The whole Alphabet team is delighted and proud to have retained our place on one of the UK’s largest public sector framework agreements,” commented Dean Hedger, head of public sector for Alphabet.
“Historically nearly three quarters of public sector business has been transacted via the CCS framework. This new framework enables a significant number of public sector organisations to continue to access Alphabet’s range of funding and fleet management products, as well as advanced mobility solutions, such as AlphaElectric and AlphaCity.”
