Claire was previously head of sales for Enterprise’s fleet and rental broker channel, based at the company’s European headquarters at Egham, Surrey. She held a number of management roles after joining Enterprise’s management trainee scheme in 1996.

Her appointment underlines the multi-marque car leasing and fleet management company’s focus on developing its flexible mobility and usage solutions for UK customers.

Claire said: 'This is a great opportunity for me to join Alphabet at a very exciting juncture for the company. A key area of my role will be to take our rental offering forward both as a stand-alone service and as seamless component of our future mobility programmes. Customers will be able to turn to Alphabet not only for their usual rental needs but also for smart mobility solutions in association with our other managed services for company cars, pool cars, grey fleet and accident management.'

James brings 12 years of experience of in-house fleet management to Alphabet, having joined Zurich upon graduating in 1999, and his new role will focus on optimising vehicle contracts as well as to maximise value for money for both customers and for the organisation.

He will support Alphabet’s account management team, reporting to head of account management Jon Burdekin, who said: 'First-hand knowledge is a key factor in delivering the best service to customers and I am delighted to welcome James to our highly experienced account management team at this significant point in Alphabet’s development.'
