Allianz Global Assistance UK invests in Business Development team

Insurance and assistance provider Allianz Global Assistance UK has appointed Andrew Tolman to the position of business development manager for corporate sales in a move to introduce new and updated services.

Andrew Tolman joins Allianz Global Assistance UK as business development manager for corporate sales

Tolman has spent the last decade working for specialised international private medical insurance provider, International Medical Group (IMG) and brings a wealth of experience in international markets.

In his new role, he will be part of the Business Development team working to develop new profitable opportunities and enter new markets. He will specifically focus on the Allianz Worldwide Partners new assistance and insurance propositions, reporting in to Phil Carr, head of business development for Allianz Global Assistance UK.

Phil Carr commented: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the team, his vast experience working with individuals, companies and brokers around the world will be invaluable in developing our offering to meet changing market needs in the future. Having focused on generating sales and successfully improving retention rates in his previous role, we know Andrew will quickly become an integral member of this expanding team.”
