Airmax Remote targets SMEs with new monthly telematics rental solution

Airmax Remote has introduced a new telematics rental solution, providing a cost-effective method within a monthly rental model.

Richard Perham, managing director of Airmax Remote

The Airmax Go solution has been developed especially for SMEs with direct fleet operations and delivers all the benefits delivered by Airmax Remote’s telematics solution, within a monthly rental payment which includes all hardware and installation costs, as part of a Software-as-a-Service model.

It forms part of Airmax’s wider branding strategy that delivers a fleet telematics solution to smaller businesses that may have limited working capital to support the outlay for a long-term telematics solution.

This enables smaller fleets to access all the benefits of Airmax’s advanced telematics solution, including highly accurate data on areas such as speed and with a full warranty, but without upfront fees.

It can also be used for Airmax Remote’s ‘MaxCam’ onboard camera solution – either as an integrated or standalone solution – giving a connected camera product with event-triggered video monitoring.

Richard Perham, managing director of Airmax Remote, said: “For the majority of SMEs, the past 12 months have been extremely challenging. Renting will make more sense for companies that need the most up-to-date software, or which don’t currently have the budget required to purchase a system outright.

“As a privately owned, independent company, we recognise the difficulties in maintaining business continuity and reducing unnecessary risk and that’s why we have launched Airmax Go. For small businesses, Airmax Go delivers all the benefits of our complete telematics offering, but tailored for small business budgets.”
