2015 ICFM annual conference to focus on ‘Fleet 2020’ theme

The 23rd ICFM conference takes place on Wednesday 21 October at the Williams Conference Centre, Grove, Oxfordshire.

Chairman of the ICFM, Paul Hollick declared: “We will have topics about the landscape today and in the future, looking at fleet management trends over the next five years. Once again we will include a lively expert panel discussion session.

“After lunch, our guest speaker is Phil Tufnell who played 42 tests and 20 one-day internationals for England plus 316 first-class matches, mainly for Middlesex. The former slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler has been a popular resident captain on BBC One’s Question of Sport since 2008 and is guaranteed to entertain our attendees with his inimitable style. No doubt he will have some interesting observations on the outcome of The Ashes!

“As a not-for-profit education and training organisation, our awards presentation is an essential part of our conference where we can publicly recognise individual achievement and rising talent. Our accredited education and training programmes make a real difference to the contribution employees make to their organisations by helping improve efficiencies, save costs and ensure compliance. Our awardees will be privileged to have their certificates presented to them by Phil Tufnell.”

The annual national members’ conference will commence at 9.30am and finish at 3.30pm. ICFM members will be allowed to bring one guest with them free of charge.

Once the conference has ended there will be tours of Sir Frank Williams' private Grand Prix Collection.

To register their free attendance, ICFM members should complete the online booking form at www.icfm.com. The deadline for registration is 16 October 2015.

The event is hosted by leading coatings and speciality products and services company, PPG, as headline sponsor, with co-sponsor FMG. Secondary sponsors include Alphabet, BCA, Jaama, Rightsure and Thrifty.
