Volkswagen Group still first-choice with key German accounts

For fleets of more than 10 vehicles, a total of 91,712 vehicles were registered from January to June, up by 19% on the previous year.

The VW brand saw strong growth in the German passenger cars brand ranking with 56,329 registrations, an increase of 22%. Meanwhile SEAT registrations grew 96.5% to 2,108 units, while Skoda increased deliveries 31.4% in the first half year, with registrations running at 9,050 vehicles.

The group also scored highly in the model rankings for German fleets. Volkswagen took first and second place with the Passat and the Golf, whilst Audi was ranked at third with the A4.

Looking at the fleet market for light commercial vehicles (maximum 6.0t), where data is recorded separately, the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand recorded 13,126 vehicle registrations in the first half, up 1.12% on the previous year.
