Used car prices fall in Q4 2016
Average used prices fell back slightly in Q4 2016 on the back of higher average age and mileage.

Latest figures from Autorola UK’s online remarketing portal show the average price fell £228 to £8,983 in Q4 from £9,211 in Q3, with the average age increased to a 2016-high of 34 months.
During 2016, Q1 recorded the lowest average used price of £8,798 while Q3 saw the lowest average age at 31 months.
The fall comes as Autorola reports its best-ever December, helped by strong consumer demand and good quality stock.
“Talking to dealers, they had a good Christmas period and used demand has continued into January 2017,” said Jon Mitchell, Autorola UK’s group sales director.
