Updated F-Type will bring new models and technology.

On sale from in the first quarter of 2017, the facelifted model brings tweaked styling with model-specific front bumpers and full LED headlights. Meanwhile the interior gains lightweight slimline seats, which bring an 8kg weight saving, and new chrome and aluminium trim finishes. In addition the Siena Tan leather option is now available across the range.

However, the main changes come in the form of new infotainment technologies. The Touch Pro infotainment system is now available on every F-type, which brings an 8-inch display with tablet-style operation, intelligent navigation functions such as Share ETA and online services such as real-time traffic and live weather reports.

Theres also a new ReRun app that combines real-time video from the drivers GoPro with key vehicle performance data including speed, throttle position, gear selection, braking force and g force. The video can be downloaded to the drivers smartphone and shared on social media.

The line-up also brings two new options, including the R-Dynamic derivative, which is available as a 340bhp V6 F-TYPE R-Dynamic and offers 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, exterior body styling with gloss black accents, interior console change and switchable active exhaust for £3,700 over the 340PS V6 F-Type.

In addition, the 380bhp V6 F-TYPE R-Dynamic replaces the 380bhp V6S, and incorporates the same visual changes with 20-inch alloy wheels.

The range also introduces an exclusive 400 SPORT launch edition, which will go on sale worldwide but for one model year only. This brings a 395bhp version of the 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine and an uprated chassis comprising the Super Performance braking system, Configurable Dynamics and 20-inch wheels with Dark Satin Grey finish.

Other changes include the addition of a semi-automated park-assist function to the F-Types suite of driver assistance systems.

The new F-Type range is priced from £51,450 on the road for the Coupé and Convertible rising to £110,000

for the SVR Coupé and Convertible. The R-Dynamic Coupé and Convertible start from £55,150 OTR while the 400 SPORT models are priced from £70,115.
