TRACKER is demonstrating a new Driving Style module at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show which promises to meet the driver and fleet monitoring needs of today’s businesses.

TRACKER Fleet’s "Driving Style" module enables managers to review the overall driving style of their fleet, as well evaluate individual driving behavior. @PREVIEWEND@  The new module maps historical trends, allowing fleet managers to recognise and reward improvement or offer driver training, as appropriate, helping them improve driver efficiency and safety. 

Using TRACKER’s black box technology, TRACKER Fleet’s Driving Style creates a unique driver score per vehicle, based on acceleration, braking, cornering, speeding and idling.  Fleet managers can monitor all five elements or select the appropriate options, offering the flexibility to create a tailored solution that best meets their needs. Driver league tables can be created for the entire fleet or for particular groups of vehicles.  The black box scoring technology takes into account the differing road types – such as motorways and city centre’s – that each driver has faced, ensuring a fair comparison. 

The Driver Style system also uses the performance of the overall TRACKER Fleet parc to create a benchmark. This allows fleet managers to compare their own fleet to understand how it performs against industry averages. Users benefit from clear information, displayed in graphs and pie charts on a day-by-day basis, including time of day and road type for the fleet or individual drivers. In addition, information can be quickly and simply shared with drivers through a Driver Feedback facility. This allows drivers to see how they are performing historicallTeley via email or SMS text from their fleet managers.
