A new affinity scheme is to launch from Total Motion, providing a valuable employee benefit that can also help firms deal with grey fleet risk management issues.

Total Motion says its new affinity scheme brings a wide array of benefits to employers and employees.

Available at no extra cost to employers, Total Motion ‘Affinity’ is said to be the only scheme of its kind which is HMRC-approved and can benefit employees by savings of more than £1,000 per vehicle.

Other advantages for employees include preferential pre-owned and new car discounts, plus the ability to share discounts offered through the scheme with close family members.

Additionally, the scheme includes a Special Personal Contract Hire PCH product for those staff leaving company car plans. This comes with low or nil deposit and maintenance and insurance included.

For employers, the scheme offers the ability to offer vehicles to selected employees, with access to all available funding products. It can also be used to improve legal compliance around grey fleet, with a management option that deals with aspects such as risk, cost, health and safety, vehicle operation and environmental issues.

Total Motion is partnering with insurance companies and is also planning to roll out the affinity scheme to include all motoring-related services.

Managing director Simon Hill said: “We plan to offer discount fuel cards, parking and hotels, for instance, with the scheme having the option to include a fully maintained vehicle package.”
